The book is a transcript of the report “My Work on the Role” Nikolai Fedorovich Monakhov (1875-1936), an outstanding Soviet theater and cinema actor. He talks about what he had to overcome on his path to the top of skill. This story is interesting and useful in that it reflected the individuality of Monakhov as a true scene artist. This small book, of course, does not set out all the secrets of Monakhov’s work, but it is of interest to everyone who is related to the theater.
