In the vast creative heritage of a literary critic, critic, journalist and largest fantast of the 20th century, Howard Phillips Lavcraft (1890-1937) Poetry takes far from the last place, being an integral part of his inner world. Today, about five hundred poems created by Lovecraft in different years are known. However, the complete collection of his poetry was published in the United States only in 2013.

In the present illustrated publication, the poetry of the Master of Horror is presented in Russian most fully: about three hundred poems and two poetic dramas. A special place in the book is occupied by the topics of science fiction and horror, artistically complementing the Phasmagoria of Lovecraft's prose, as well as the writer's responses to modernity and politics, including the First World War.

The publication, the initiator of which was Evgeny Vladimirovich Vitkovsky (1950- 2020), prepared by translators, participants in the network forum "The Age of Translation". The compiler and editor was Alexander Triandafilidi. Most of the works have been translated for the first time.

The design used the works of F. Atpatela and other artists.
