A classification of types of non -destructive control was carried out and their advantages and disadvantages were identified. The physical principles of the work of acoustic types of non -destructive control and specifically UZK are considered. Ultrasound control methods are considered. The procedure for conducting non-destructive control has been developed on the example of the defectoscope UD2-102 "Peleng" and the requirements for controlled objects, means of control and organization of work.
