“My life was difficult, but interesting. It was about this that I asked God in my youth ” - Yanush Korchak wrote these words in his diary in 1942, while in the Warsaw ghetto. In the same year, the famous children's writer, doctor and teacher, founder of the legendary house of orphans, along with his pupils (about 200 children) will die in a concentration camp in Treblink.
In 1942, Janusz Korchak turned sixty -four years old; He was widely known for his original views on the principles of raising a child, which actively and very successfully implemented life. The basis of his pedagogical system was a very simple thought: the child is a full -fledged person who has the right to his own views and to his attitude to the world around him.
