This publication is the sixth in a series of workbooks for an independent, extracurricular development of the course “Normal Physiology” and is devoted to the physiology of the digestive system. This topic is included in the mandatory program in the training of specialists in medical, biological, and pedagogical universities. The textbook was created by the team of authors on the basis of many years of teaching experience at the Department of Physiology and General Pathology of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and the Department of Physiology of Human and Animals of the M.V. Lomonosov Biology Faculty.
