Konstantin Dmitrievich Nosilov (1858-1923) was born in the village of Maslyansky, near the city of Shadrinsk. A passion for travels has manifested itself in the writer in the youth years, and since the late 70s he completely surrendered to his calling. On the New Earth, he founded two colonies of the Nenets and built a house station where he conducted regular observations of the life of nature.
