The book considers a wide context of the activities of Peter's diplomacy during the Northern War, the formation of new approaches to the foreign policy problems of Russia and the ways of solving them. Bright characters are represented that defended Russian national interests as ambassadors and residents under European courtyards in conditions of confusing and variable international conditions.
