This book is a new, corrected and supplemented publication of the first Norwegian textbook in Russia, which first published in 2001 and has already experienced four publications. The authors of the textbook prepared in the first edition at the Department of the Scandinavian languages of MGIMO (U) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia were focused on the traditions of creating textbooks in foreign languages, existing in Russia and the achievement of Norwegian authors of textbooks and textbooks in the Norwegian language for foreigners living in Norway.
The textbook is primarily intended for use in educational institutions, as well as for independent study. The purpose of the textbook is to instill oral communication skills in the Norwegian language within everyday life and some country topics. The book contains an introductory-phonetic course and the main course with a consistent presentation of lexical and grammatical material and its consolidation using a system of communicative exercises and lasting comments. The textbook lessons contain links to the corresponding points of the section “Practical Grammar of the Norwegian Language”, placed at the end of the book.
The textbook is addressed to a wide range of people who first begin to study the Norwegian language and want to learn how to speak it, as well as read and understand the Norwegian written speech.
