Notes of a drunk person. Volodin A.
The book of the outstanding domestic playwright Alexander Moiseevich Volodin (1919-2001) consists of his two prosaic works-“Optimistic notes” and “Notes of a drunk person”. The text of “optimistic notes” is almost entirely included in the “notes of a drunk person”. However, this does not cancel its self -worth. Before us is independent works that create an amazing “stereoscopic” effect in the comparison. Their connection is clearly the difference in the author’s attitude, the difference in time potentials is amazing, the difference in the composition of the air, as a social atmosphere, to which Volodin was unusually sensitive. In other words, before us, the picture of what happened to the author in a quarter century: what has changed in it and what remained unchanged.
