Boris Nikolayevich Poleva (1908-1981) is known not only as a wonderful writer, but also as a corresponding journalist who passed the entire World War II and completed it at the signing of the act of unconditional surrender of Germany. As a specialist in the newspaper Pravda, he was instructed to cover the course of the Nuremberg process over the main Nazi military criminals. B. Polevoy’s reports on the process formed the basis of the book “In the end”, where he gave expressive portraits of members of the International Tribunal, the defendants, as well as his colleagues who worked with him in Nuremberg. The writer reflects on the anti -human essence of Nazism, showing all the evil that he brought to humanity, about the pattern of retaliation that comprehended his creators.
