The book is devoted to the most important trial in the history of mankind - the Nuremberg Tribunal. The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg was the first experience in the history of condemning crimes of a state scale - the ruling regime, its punitive institutions, higher political and military figures, industrialists and financiers. The publication was prepared on the basis of rare archival documents, including recently declassified, inaccessible sources, the latest research, memories of contemporaries, as well as personal meetings of the author with the immediate participants of those distant events and their relatives. Part of the materials are published for the first time.
Alexander Grigoryevich Zvyagintsev - Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation (2000–2016), author of many historical and documentary books, as well as action -packed novels, plays and scenes. On the basis of his novel-chronicle, “Eternal Age”, as well as with his participation, the film “Nuremberg” was shot (2022).
