The textbook is compiled by specialists of the Moscow Regional Scientific Clinical Institute. M.F. Vladimir and Scientific Center of the Neurology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education in the specialty 34.02.01 “Nursing”.

The book sets out the basics of anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, given neurological syndromes and the methodology of examination of the patient , the main nosological forms of diseases of the nervous system are described, the issues of the provision of nursing care in the organization of care for neurological patients and in emergency neurological conditions are considered.
