Oblomov. Goncharov I.A.
Ivan Aleksandrovich Goncharov (1812-1891) wrote his best Oblomov novel with a long break due to a sea trip, first published one chapter, which he subsequently criticized and converted, and then edited the text for another year.
The author laid the same dimensionality and leisurely in the image of the protagonist. The kind, smart and poetic landowner Ilyich Oblomov could have everything he wishes, but spends his days in Leny anything on his favorite sofa, indulging in memories and dreams.
To overcome his recluse, he has neither strength nor desire. And even love cannot defeat his apathy.
Goncharov reveals before us the dilemma of a person who misses all the possibilities, but finds happiness and peace in his position, and at the same time gives a collective image of the social stagnation of the mid -19th century.
However, Oblomovshchina firmly entered our cultural code and turned out to be a timeless phenomenon.
