The book is dedicated to the difficult fate of the St. George Cavalier Lieutenant M.L. Bochkareva, during the First World War, heading the first women's death team from volunteers in the Russian army. Even a century after her tragic death, the genuine biography of this unusual woman, better known since 1917 as the commander of the “female battalion of death”, was not written.
