The real life and fate of Maria Bochkareva still remains largely unknown to our contemporaries. Numerous publications and adaptations of her military fate contain historical and actual inaccuracies. The book of her memoirs in English and Don Levin, often called her biography, recreates the distorted image of the heroine in English and is based on incorrectly stated historical facts and descriptions of events.
