Oncology: Textbook. Gantsev Sh.Kh.

The textbook was prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education, as well as in accordance with the approximate work program of the discipline "Oncology".

The textbook consists of two sections. The section “General Oncology” contains information about the history, modern problems of oncology, the organization of oncological assistance, the pathogenesis of clinical symptoms, methods for diagnosing malignant tumors, the principles of treatment of malignant neoplasms and deontology in oncology. The section “Faculty of (private) oncology” contains modern data on the main nosological forms of malignant neoplasms reflected in the relevant chapters-cancer of the skin, mela-noma, tumors of the head and neck, predatory diseases and cancer of the breast, lung cancer, esophagus cancer, cancer stomach, colon cancer, rectum cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, bone tumors and soft tissues, and Hodgkin lymphoma.

The textbook is intended for students and graduate students of all faculties of medical universities.
