The editorial office of the famous book about the journey through the United States, the outstanding satirists of Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov, appears in a completely unexpected light in conjunction with previously unknown materials from the personal archive of Alexandra Ilyinichna Ilf. The book publishes letters that Ilf sent to his wife and daughter during the trip, and photographs taken by him in the USA. Together with Petrov’s letters, they are a kind of trip diary and naturally complement “one -story America.”

The publication continues a series of books on the work of Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov, prepared and discredited by Alexandra Ilf.
