The textbook in an accessible and visual form covered in detail modern knowledge about individual and professional hygiene of the oral cavity, the characteristics of teeth care in the presence of orthopedic and orthodontic structures, as well as after implantation, including in children and adolescents. The latest scientific data is given, the history of issues of oral hygiene is reflected. The textbook contains 13 chapters, including saliva biochemistry, the specifics of the influence of microbial associations on the health of the oral cavity, the diagnosis of dental pathology, and the prevention of dental diseases. When writing it, a multidisciplinary approach was used.
