Organization, powers and functions of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service. Tutorial

A textbook is developed in accordance with the requirements of the work program in the specialties of “General Hygiene” and “Epidemiology”. The manual discusses the structure, organizational and legal foundations, powers and functions of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Blessing (Rospotrebnadzor), formed after the reorganization of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Russian Federation, its bodies and institutions in in 2005 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Particular attention is paid to the risk model of control and supervision activities in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being.
