Orthopedic anatomy of Netter
Netter's orthopedic anatomy is, in fact, an anatomical reference book created on the basis of the Atlas of the Interior Human anatomy, released in 1989. The author of this publication is the chief orthopedist of the US Combined Arms John Tompson. The Atlas is perfectly illustrated by the drawings created by Frank Netter in the 30s of the XX century. Each chapter of this book contains briefly presented information regarding the clinic, diagnosis and treatment of the main types of damage and diseases of each of the human body segments. Thanks to excellent drawings, information is easily perceived and remembered. First of all, this book will be interesting and useful to students of medical universities, as well as beginner orthopedic traumatologists, for which it can become a desktop for a long time. The Atlas was repeatedly reprinted, and the information contained in it was supplemented, since traumatology and orthopedics are developing rapidly, new methods of treatment and structure appear. However, the main information related to anatomy remains unchanged and is the basis of the knowledge necessary for any orthopedic traumatologist.
