Ilya Kukulin - historian and sociologist of culture, literary critic, poet. Born in 1969 in Moscow, graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University and graduate school of the philological faculty of the Russian State University. Candidate of Philology. Laureate of the prize Andrei Bely for the monograph “Machines of the noisy time: how Soviet installation became the method of unofficial culture” (2015); Awards of the Academy of Russian modern literature for young authors (2002); Bella awards (2017) and “Frantic Vissarion” (2019) for literary criticism. The author of the collection of poems "Badewind" (2009). Poems are translated into English, Georgian, Italian, Albanian and Serbian. Lives in Moscow.
