strange creatures are returning to life in London and Germany. These are the past, angels who once could not protect the tree of knowledge, and their awakening from the eternal sleep will have consequences. In Africa, the colonial city of Essenwald is in chaos, when the only workers who are able to work in a Vorra, who takes his mind to the forest, disappear under his canopy. A special team under the leadership of Izmail, a former cyclops, goes in search of them, but the forest will simply not give those whom he considers his own. And in a remote hut, the local peasant woman finds a strange girl. Its origin is unknown, but it has forces located outside of understanding. Conflict, the old and new, human and inhuman will soon collide, and even Vorr himself begins to feel that he is in danger.
