Pathophysiology: lecture course

This publication of a course of lectures on pathophysiology is a substantially redesigned and supplemented version of the 2012 lectures. The content of lectures in accordance with modern development trends of fundamental and clinical medicine was updated, a new lecture “Pathophysiology of hemoreology and microcirculation” was introduced.

The textbook meets the requirements of the current federal state educational standards of higher professional education. The publication was prepared by employees of the Department of Pathophysiology and Clinical Pathophysiology of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov »Ministry of Health of Russia. It consists of 39 lectures in which issues of general and clinical pathophysiology are consistent. Theoretical material is illustrated by tables and drawings.

Dictionary (glossary) of the main medical terms in general pathology and pathophysiology contains an alphabetical manner of a set of common and special medical terms and concepts used in the modern scientific, medical and educational medical literature. In addition to the actual biological terms, it includes the terms of related areas of medicine.
