This publication is a fundamentally recycled and supplemented version of the textbooks “Pathological Physiology” edited by A. D. Ado and V.V. Novitsky (Tomsk, 1994), “Pathophysiology” edited by V.V. Novitsky and E. D. Goldberg (Tomsk, 2001, 2006), “Pathophysiology” edited by V.V. Novitsky, E. D. Goldberg, O. I. Urazova (Tomsk, 2009), the creation of which famous scientists and teachers of Russia and the CIS countries took part - Representatives of the Moscow, Tomsk, Kazan, Kharkov and Tbilisi scientific schools of pathophysiologists.
The order of chapters and sections has been revised, their content is significantly updated in accordance with modern trends in the development of biological science, fundamental and clinical medicine.
