Lev Vladimirovich Gornung (1902–1993) - poet and photographer, author of memoirs about Russian poets of the 20th century. The book, compiled by Tatyana Neshumova, included diary notes that Gornung kept from his youth. The pages of this diary stored in state and private archives for the first time recreated as a single text, reflecting several decades of the life of the Moscow intelligentsia from the beginning of the 1920s to the 1980s. The book also quit previously not published memoirs, complementing the diary, as well as a small anthology of the mentioned poems. The publication is equipped with an introductory article, a detailed commentary and a nominal index.
