The sleepy calm of a small city violates a series of terrible killings: someone attacks young men and brutally straightens with them. At first glance, the victims are in no way interconnected. Everyone is lost in conjecture: ritual murder? Wild antics of some madman? Investigator Alexander Napoleon feels one or another thread, but they all break off. A childhood girlfriend comes to the rescue - a charming Miroslav Volgin, the owner of a private detective agency. Together, they go on the trace of the criminal, and already discovering him, with difficulty believe that this person is a monstrous killer, behind whom a long bloody trace stretches.
