Pedagogical poem. Makarenko A.S.
Pedagogical achievements of A. S. Makarenko are impressive. In 1920, near Poltava, he headed a colony for young offenders and in a short time from a motley troupe of street children was able to create a real commune - a cohesion and motivated team. The impetus that gave to his pupils Anton Semenovich allowed them to become successful people and reach a high position in society. One faith in man was clearly not enough for such success.
In 1917, Makarenko graduated from the Poltava Institute for the Golden Medal, but the educational and pedagogical approaches adopted in his time were clearly not suitable for working with children whom the troubles of revolutionary upheavals were turned into asocial creatures. It is no accident that the colony, which was under the leadership of Makarenko, was unofficially called the "colony for defective." Anton Semenovich came up with his techniques and methods of education, as they say, "on the go." A few years later, he set out this unique educational experience in a literary form in a book that Maxim Gorky called a pedagogical poem - a book about the remake of the psyche.
It is not surprising that the “Pedagogical Poem” was translated into many languages of the world. Her text was edited over time. In this edition, it is published according to the first full edition of 1934-1936. This unusual and that has no analogues is of universal meaning. It is relevant today. Some consider the pedagogical gift to Makarenko so unique that attempts to transfer it are doomed to failure. This is wrong.
Anton Semenovich’s main covenant is that a person who is striving to teach and educate others should be primarily a successful and knowledgeable specialist in any business. Without this, pedagogy turns into empty chatter. Read Makarenko’s book, and you yourself will understand it.
