Peppy "Kuban 6" - a medicinal perennial bushy plant from the family of the labels. The stems are erect, reach 45 cm in height. The leaves are green, ovoid-lanceolate, pubescent from below.
Mint blooms in July - August. The flowers are small, light purple, collected in spike-shaped inflorescences. The whole plant is very aromatic. For medicinal purposes, leaves, essential oil, menthol are used. Grow sowing in open ground and seedlings.
Sowing in open ground is carried out from April to June, for seedlings - in March. They are planted with a distance between plants 20-30 cm, between rows - 40-50 cm. For drying, mint is removed in the phase of budding. The plant prefers moist places, loose loamy soils. Mint water, drops, tinctures, pure essential oil and its derivatives are used for diseases of the respiratory tract, stomach, liver, neuralgia, spastic migraines, cordial disorders, high blood pressure. Mint as a flavor is added to tea and other drinks, its leaves are decorated with fruit salads.
