For this, the revolutionaries fiercely hated P.A. Stolypin and were afraid of him.

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor D.V. Tabachnik, will document a portrait of the chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Empire. This book is the result of work with archival materials, with the memoirs of contemporaries. Particular attention is paid to the vicissitudes of the fight against terror, the implementation of the system of systemic reforms, attempts to reach an agreement with the liberal opposition, political intrigues and the layout of forces in the ruling elite. The book also examines in detail the mysterious story of the murder of P. A. Stolypin by the agent of the security department, which is so far one of the most mysterious attempts of the 20th century.
