The reader’s attention is proposed to the commented edition of Andrei Bely’s novel “Petersburg” - one of the central works of Russian literature of the Silver Age. The symbolist rethinking of the two-hundred-year cultural mythology of St. Petersburg is combined in this book with an original-author look at the revolutionary events of the beginning of the 20th century.
