A textbook is compiled in accordance with the program approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for students of pharmaceutical universities and faculties. Despite the presence of information blocks, the manual is not an independent source of information. It contains training tasks that contribute to the active use of students of the information fund of existing textbooks: D.A. Kharkevich "Pharmacology"; "Pharmacology", ed. R.N. Alyautdina.

The material is divided into two parts (general and private pharmacology) and contains 14 sections. The sequence of chapters differs from the textbooks adopted in the textbooks and corresponds to the sequence of practical classes in pharmacology.

At the beginning of each topic, questions are proposed alternating with orienting information blocks, a list of drugs is given. Tasks for self -training are presented in the form of structural schemes with incomplete lines to fit answers; In the form of tables and schemes illustrating the localization and mechanisms of action of drugs, as well as in the form of situational tasks. Each topic ends with test tasks for self -control and tasks for analysis of medical prescriptions (answers to test tasks are given at the end of the topic). The textbook contains four final classes in the form of test tasks.
