Aristotle often resorted to syllogisms - logical arguments based on deductive reasoning. During its existence, humanity has developed various methods of cognition: dialectics, logic, induction, deduction, dialectical logic, mathematical logic and determinism. A considerable contribution to the study of society also made historical materialism.

The developed methods of knowledge of philosophers in a different period of history were then applied in various fields of knowledge, and this contributed to the development of science. It turns out that a philosophy, which has such methods and methods of cognition, can naturally be considered a science.
