Lomond matte papers are used to print photorealistic avenues, advertising sheets, portfolio, photo portraits, etc. For light varieties, a moderate “filling” of the sheet with ink is recommended. Middle and high density papers are used for intense “filling”. The ink is quickly absorbed and dry. Therefore, almost immediately you can print on the back. The matte coating with a strong increase has the form of a mountainous relief. Therefore, the reflected light is scattered at different angles. The image printed on matte paper does not glance, the lines are highly contrast, clean tones have a characteristic velvety depth. Matte papers are better suited for printing such images (for example, illustrated texts) that should not tire the eyes. Matte papers are inferior to glossy in regard to the transmission of subtle gradations of colors, especially dark ones.
