The manual is intended for independent training of students for seminars and laboratory work in the study of the physical bloc of the discipline “Physics, Mathematics”. In the traditions of the Department of Medical Physics of SPbGPMU, the mathematical block of this discipline - elements of the theory of probability and mathematical statistics - is studied first, and the physical one - the second. But the manual "Physics. Workshop ”is written so that the physical and mathematical blocks can be studied in any sequence.

The main feature of the manual is seen by the author in the volume and priority of the material. On each topic, the volume of the material is quite large that it is such that a student with weak basic preparation in physics will, despite this, dial the necessary “cost of living”, and an advanced student may not be limited to this.
