The textbook discusses the basic theories, approaches and principles of planning and designing organizations of various profiles of activity - commercial and non -profit, as well as public administration organizations. Modern methods of making decisions and planning are presented, organizing the control of the execution of decisions. A significant place is reserved for the consideration of the methods of drawing up business planes, their use for the design of organizations and diagnosing the need to conduct organizational changes. The place in the design and grounds for choosing a suitable structure and system of communications of the organization have been determined, recommendations are given on the formation of the relevant tasks of the organization of culture. Attention is paid to organizational changes.
