She “searches for herself” in the desert Jerusalem and in the documents of several generations of the family, which has experienced all the horror of the first decades of Soviet Russia. The heroes pave their confusing routes in the past and present, their fate mix and merge with each other, rhyme with biblical events, and documents, letters and diary recordings woven into the fabric become a card leading to the acquisition of the ever -slipping “I”.
