But the twentieth century ended, and it turned out that Tsvetaeva was not mistaken: according to a survey conducted by the Russian Institute of Social and National Studies, Anna Akhmatova entered the top ten list of the most outstanding figures of Russian literature of the twentieth century, compiled in accordance with the national opinion: along with S. Yesenin and A. Solzhenitsyn, following A. Blok.
