Alexander Blok is the largest poet of the Silver Age of Russian Culture, an innovator who changed the face of Russian poetry in the 20th century. Blok is a symbolist poet, whose verses, even understandable at first glance, with each reading reveal the new depths of meaning to the reader-and then a living, noble, highly extraordinary person who survived a person grows from poetic lines.
