This book includes the chosen poems of I. A. Bunin. During his lifetime, several poetic collections were published, for which he received two Pushkin prizes. His lyrics have an exciting and sincere voice of Russian poetry, in which elegiac notes of love for the Motherland, the music of hot winds in his oriental poems and philosophical lyric motifs about the place of man in the world are pulsed.

According to M. A. Voloshin, from the point of view of painting, the poetic paintings of the poet reached the “final points of perfection”.
