Poems. Poems. Book in English. Wilde O.
Oscar Wilde (1854–1900) is known in Russia primarily as the author of caustic satirical plays, the shocking novel “Portrait of Dorian Gray”, fascinating fairy tales and brilliant aphorisms. However, his work began with poetry, when he still received a prestigious prize of the University of Oxford for the Poem “Ravenna” (1878), and ended with the famous “Ballad of the Reding prison”, written shortly after liberation from the conclusion.
in The real collection included the chosen poetic works of Oscar Uyld. These are confessional sonnets, tragic elegy and passionate, performed by the ardor of the sensuality of the poem, which largely reflects its poetic corps and even more - the personality of one of the most controversial authors of the 19th century.
