Poet and city. Gritsman A.Yu.
The book of the poet and essayist Andrei Gritzman collected essays and short prose, interviews and reviews published over the past ten years in leading Russian and foreign magazines. The author reflects on the problems of the writer's work in the diaspora, outside of constant contact with his native language and native culture. Modern media have significantly changed the position of the author living outside of Russia, and to some extent united Russian literature, blurring the boundaries of the culture of the Metropolis and Emigrant. Significant attention in the book is given to the “American” Russian poets, these are the famous names - Brodsky, Mezhirov, Khvostenko, and young, but already noticeable voices.
