Poetics of Dostoevsky. Bakhtin M.
We consider Dostoevsky one of the greatest innovators in the field of artistic form. He created, in our opinion, a completely new type of artistic thinking, which we conditionally called polyphonic. This type of artistic thinking found its expression in Dostoevsky’s novels, but its significance goes beyond only the novel creativity and concerns some basic principles of European aesthetics. Dostoevsky created a new art model of the world, in which many of the main moments of the old art form were subjected to radical transformation. The task of the proposed work is to reveal this fundamental innovation of Dostoevsky.
in the extensive literature on Dostoevsky, the main features of his poetics could not, of course, unnoticed (in the first chapter of this work, it is given. An overview of the most significant statements on this issue), but their fundamental novelty and their organic unity as a whole of the art world of Dostoevsky are disclosed and are far -not enough not enough. The literature on Dostoevsky was mainly devoted to the ideological problems of his work. The transient severity of this problem overshadowed the deeper and most stable structural moments of its artistic vision. Often almost completely forgot that Dostoevsky is primarily an artist (though a special type), and not a philosopher and not a publicist.
