Polynomials in tasks. Petrov N.N.
In the school course of mathematics, much attention is paid to the study of quadratic function. This direction is part of a large and meaningful section of mathematics, which studies arbitrary polynomials from one and several variables. The theory of polynomials is often used in various sections of mathematics. The use of polynomials in many cases is justified, since, on the one hand, calculations with polynomials are much easier than with other functions, and on the other hand, many polynomials are everywhere tight in the space of continuous functions on the segment. This allows in some cases to replace the functions under consideration with polynomials.
The book sets out some elements of the theory, but its main part is devoted to the tasks, most of which are equipped with solutions. In addition, various properties of polynomials are considered, not always studied in the school course, but directly adjacent to it.
This book will be useful for students of grades 8-11, both ordinary schools and classes with in-depth study of mathematics, lyceums and specialized schools. Fans of the Olympiads will also find in this book many tasks that require a special approach to solve. The book can serve as a source for preparing for solving the problems of the exam, in particular problems with parameters. The book will be useful for students of 1-2 courses.
