The author of the book, conductor Samuel Friedman graduated from the Kharkov conservatory in the violin class and the Leningrad Conservatory in the conduct of conducting. In the Soviet Union, he worked with the orchestras of the three Philharmonic.
, after emigration to Israel, headed the Haifa symphony orchestra. Subsequently, he was the chief of the orchestra of the Württemberg Philharmonic (Germany) and the Opera House of St. Gallen (Switzerland). He repeatedly acted as an invited conductor in different countries of Europe, as well as in the USA, Japan, South Africa and South Korea. With famous musical groups, he recorded more than 30 discs.
The basis of this book was stories about the life and work of the greatest composers of the world. These stories will help the reader understand and love classical music.
