The lord writer Mikolai Glovatsky returns from Warsaw to the provincial city of Zybork. Once he wrote about his small homeland, a novel who became a real bestseller, but he exaggerated and distorted a lot in it, depicting a scribbled with a real hell on earth. However, inspiration and money quickly ended, and Mikolai goes home, to his father, whom he hates and is afraid, and in a city who sincerely considers the worst place in the world. And indeed corruption reigns in it, criminal authorities rule, and human life is worth a little. They even say that the whole land is cursed. And now the leaders of the local community began to disappear here. When one of them is found in the forest, exhausted, distraught, with pieces of human flesh stuck in his teeth, the city covers a panic. No one still knows that this is only the beginning of a nightmare, and the threads from him are drawn to the brutal murder of the first girl Mikolai, which occurred many years ago.
