The experience of history convincingly proves that after the technological revolutions that occurred in the world most often followed by social, cultural and political revolutions. Rationalization, without which not a single technical revolution was complete, changed previously the cognitive and institutional structures of society, making its significant contribution to revolutionary processes. At the same time, the technique offered the domestic and individual consciousness its own logic and its own language of communication. The structures of rule and law accepted them, often finding themselves in a risk situation generated by the irrational and “soulless” nature of technology. The machine became a god and a demon for human existence.

The proposed monograph presents an analysis of the interaction of ideas and processes that make up the foundations of power technologies and legal techniques in the context of their historical development.
