We present the 5th edition of the book to the reader, which is expanded due to modern methods and equipment. In the book, a lot has been finalized, a large number of links have been added. Those places in the text where there was not enough information about the current state of affairs in VEZH or additional explanations were needed, equipped with translators' notes, and links to relevant literature were also added. The publication includes a new topic -control of quality. Two sections in the applications were updated and expanded by Bruno I. Landi - a section on testing the chromatographic system and the section on the identification and elimination of faults. Some new sections were written.
