The main character of the story is the former Moscow actor Aeschylus of Christ -Foridis. He turns to Orthodoxy, leaves the theater and takes his family to his homeland - to the provincial town of Svyatograd. Here Aeschylus meets old friends and tries to introduce them to faith. Moreover, often acts with pressure, which is why non -standard situations arise, funny and sad. It is not always easy for the reader to understand how sincere the hero is in an effort to convince his environment at all costs. Maybe it's only in an indefatigable impulsive temperament - and the former actor is simply not able not to play?..
