Prayer and Psalter

Prayers include prayers that are most used in the life of a believer. Morning prayers are read in the morning, at the beginning of the day, before the start of everyday business. Prayers for sleeping are read in the evening, before going to bed. Prayers before communion are read in preparation for the sacrament of communion. Prayers of thanks from the Holy Communion are read by those who communed in the holy secrets. This publication of the Orthodox prayer book also includes the psalter of the Prophet David.
