For many decades, the Second Soviet-Finnish war (in Finland it is called “War-Continuation”), and still remains “unknown”, “lost” the war. The Swinformburo did not inform Soviet citizens either about the beginning (June 25, 1941), or the completion (September 19, 1944) of this long and bloody war, which claimed the lives of more than 100 thousand fighters and commanders of the Red Army, directly influencing the blockade of Leningrad.

This book broke through the conspiracy of silence. On its pages, the famous historian Mark Solonin considers the military component of the Soviet-Finnish confrontation of 1941-1944. A significant part of the used archival documents was first introduced into scientific circulation. Particular attention was paid to the events on June 25, 1941, when Soviet aircraft inflicted a massive blow to the faithful ally of the Third Reich.
