Preparatory chromatography. Schmidt-traube H., Schultte M., Zaidel-Morgenstern A.
Over the 7 years that have passed since the second edition of the book, the practice and theory of drug chromatography have gone far ahead, which prompted the authors to prepare the third edition. New materials appeared that served as the basis for creating motionless phases, especially for the separation of large biomolecules, and expanding the possibilities of developing methods. More detailed studies have been conducted to improve the quantitative assessment of multicomponent equilibrium. The book summarizes recent achievements regarding the optimization of the rules and methods of designing and operating chromatographic equipment. In addition, thanks to the cooperation of engineers-technologists and mathematicians, faster and more effective modeling algorithms and especially optimizing chromatographic processes have been developed and can be applied to a wide range of tasks.
The authors consider drug chromatography and the tasks solved by it from the point of view of both chemists and engineers-technologists to improve the mutual understanding and transmission of knowledge between both disciplines.
